"Throw off your fear, rely on your inner strength, trust life and you will be rewarded. You can do more than you think.” This quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson speaks to my soul and every person on earth should internalize these words and thus perceive their own positive energy and convert it into successful action. 

These are stormy times full of energy that we are currently going through both individually and collectively. It can be felt everywhere, many people are afraid. There are usually very different fears that concern each and every one of us and can now be felt by everyone. Fear is our body's response to prepare for fight or flight and is usually triggered by imagining future events, most of which will never happen. Finding inner balance and trust can help you focus on the present moment and see a situation as it really is.

From fear to trust

Trust is the basis of everything, so it is important to move from fear to trust, from worry to confidence. Finding inner center can mean being with yourself, finding yourself, it can be associated with the good feeling of being at peace and finding everything in order - even if the world around us may be turbulent. That also means “I'm okay”, being satisfied with yourself.

If you find your inner center, you are also in your power. You have gained great trust and are therefore capable of great things. Successful entrepreneurs, as different as they may be, have one thing in common - their mindset. They possess a mental and emotional attitude and confidence that help them achieve their goals with ease. We must be aware that not all entrepreneurs are born with the entrepreneurial mindset. Most of them undergo a mindset shift over the course of their lives and in the process become game changers, for themselves and often for society as well. That's what happened to me personally. The time can come for everyone when they experience their own change and then embark on an entrepreneurial journey.

Networking for the future

With IN∙US, our new network company for freedom-loving, sustainable entrepreneurs, we bring people and personalities together who embark on an exciting journey together - a new community with shared values and thereby create a new culture and movement.

Here in Gambia, the first entrepreneurial community is emerging, which I was able to present in the January issue of this magazine.

IN∙US is a network of freedom-loving people who feel called to work together as an international entrepreneur and to create the luxury of a new quality of life - freedom, peace, contentment and financial security - in the long term. Networking is crucial for the future of work and in combination with the transformation of one's inner fears into trust, great potential arises, which does not only bring about change for oneself.

Doing business in The Gambia

In March 2022 we started our first investor trip here in The Gambia. 5 entrepreneurs have dared to embark on a new adventure and to discover Africa for themselves. Exotic countries and unexplored landscapes have great appeal and they all had a desire to experience something new and discover new possibilities for the future. After the negative experiences of the last few months in the western world, cultural differences also played a major role. Misunderstandings or one-sided media representation contribute to the fact that prejudices and a completely wrong picture have arisen about many parts of Africa. IN.US visited a wide variety of places with them, the beach, the river, the people and we immersed ourselves in the culture together to present the diversity of this colorful country called "The Gambia - the smiling coast of Africa". Together we explored various business potentials, IN∙US real estate projects and new tourism plans, which we are allowed to develop in The Gambia and got to know successful local and ex-pat entrepreneurs. Everyone was enthusiastic about the variety of personal and collective experiences they had here and it was somehow a journey to themselves for everyone.

Our investors didn't know each other at the beginning of the journey and yet a wonderful community was formed in the few days. We had an exciting time together and confidence in the entrepreneurial future here in The Gambia grew. Trust creates space for human closeness, which has unfortunately been lost quite a bit in western countries lately. So our first investor trip was a complete success, they are all participating in our current IN∙US real estate projects “The Edge at Kasumai Resort” Creating a magical world: Freedom | My Gambia (my-gambia.com) already have ideas for their own business here in Gambia and all of our travel participants have already planned and booked their next visit to Gambia shortly after their arrival at home. They have all made their own decision - together with us, they will continue on their way and thus surpass themselves in the future.

The next investor trips are already on our agenda. The interest is great, more and more people are finding trust in the African continent, the warm African mentality and the common culture. It is not only an adventure into trust, but also a way back to one's own inner center.
