Africa is a large, diverse continent with 54 different countries. Why is this continent mostly perceived as a big country and at the same time pigeonholed in such a negative way?

Africa is an absolute insider tip and the West in particular inspires many people in its development.

Today I would therefore like to share with you my personal 10 most important considerations as to why I chose a

Living in The Gambia, West Africa, decided:

Climate: The Gambia has a consistently warm but not very hot climate with a long dry season and a short wet season.

Nature: The Gambia has many untouched areas of land, nature reserves and national parks with a diverse flora and fauna.

Water: The central Gambia River is a lifeline of sorts for the country. It serves as an important transport route for goods and people. Plenty of groundwater makes year-round cultivation possible and is the best prerequisite for successful agriculture and independence in the food supply.

Infrastructure: The Gambia is well developed in terms of infrastructure, especially along the coast. We see other areas with room for improvement as interesting business potential. There are great opportunities, especially in the area of sustainability.

Economy: The Gambia is an emerging economy with many potentials and untapped resources. The country has a young population and a growing middle class. An investment in Gambia is outside of the European access options by the state and we gain economic independence as a result.

English Language: English is the official language, making it easier for us to navigate the country and do business.

Safety: The Gambia is one of the safest countries in Africa, known for its low crime rate.

Connections: Gambia is a popular holiday destination. Therefore, the flight connections to other countries are correspondingly well developed. The Gambia is also easy to reach by land.

Education: Awareness of good education is growing rapidly here. Accordingly, great, affordable private schools with alternative, pedagogical concepts are emerging. It's wonderful how freely the children are allowed to discover the world there.

Cultural Diversity: The Gambia is a cultural melting pot as it is home to many different ethnic groups and languages. There are many different traditions and celebrations that are always celebrated in a colorful community.

We see that upon closer inspection, undiscovered countries have unbelievably large potentials.
